1. Originality
Submissions must be
original, unpublished,
and not under
consideration elsewhere.
2. Plagiarism
Papers with more than 10% similarity (excluding references and quotes)
will be rejected.
3. Submission Format
All submissions must be in .doc or .docx format. PDF
submissions are
not accepted.
4. Language
Submissions must be
in English, written
in clear, formal legal language.
5. Co-Authorship
â—‹ Research Paper: Up to 3 authors.
â—‹ Case Commentary: Maximum of 2 authors.
I. Research Paper Guidelines
1. Theme
-
Papers should address contemporary legal issues, doctrinal analysis, legislative developments, comparative law, or socio-legal studies.
-
Interdisciplinary approaches are encouraged if connected clearly to legal discourse.
2. Word Limit
-
4,000 to 8,000 words (excluding footnotes).
3. Structure

4. Citation Style

II. Case Commentary Guidelines
1. Objective
Analyze a recent or landmark judgment, highlighting:

Court’s reasoning

Critical assessment (merits and shortcomings)

1,500 to 3,000 words.

4. Citation Style

Follow Bluebook 19th Edition, 21st Edition, or Oxford Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA).

Case names should be italicized or underlined.
Formatting

Font: Times New Roman, Size 12.

Line Spacing: 1.5 (main text); 1.0 (footnotes).

Margins: 1 inch on all sides.

III. Submission Process

The Journal will only accept submissions through Google Form.
IV. Review & Publication

Submissions undergo double-blind peer review.

Review time: 4–6 weeks
-
Accepted submissions will be informed via email and sent for minor/major revisions,
if needed.
V. Grounds for Rejection
-
Plagiarism or academic dishonesty.
-
Lack of legal analysis or clarity.
-
Non-adherence to formatting or submission rules.
-
Irrelevant or outdated topic.
VI. Payments Terms
-
Single Author: ₹ 1200
-
Co-Authors (Two Authors): ₹ 1600
-
Triple Authors (Three Authors): ₹ 2000
Fees to get Hard Copy of Certificate(s) of Publication
-
Authors opting to receive a hard copy of the Certificate of Publication via post delivery within India shall be required to pay an additional fee of ₹ 500 per certificate.
